Making the Mundane Magical

2020 was a strange year! Employers were announcing a work from home order. Schools were announcing that they would be closed and classes would be taught online. Businesses/restaurants were closed for a period of time. Guidelines were to be followed as they opened back up and tried to continue business as best as they could under the circumstances. Social distancing rules, mask mandates, and quarantine orders were established.  Suddenly people were having to adapt to this new “normal”. They were trying to find a work-life balance with everything happening under one roof at home. People were spending more time together at home than ever before. Also, their calendars weren’t as full with social activities, so they were having to be creative in coming up with ways to fill their time and connect with one another.  This time at home was definitely mundane. The days blended together, time stood still, life slowed down; but in the midst of this I found a newfound appreciation for life. I found
